Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated IoT Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of IoT development. As an IoT Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers, learn the fundamentals of firmware development, and assist in creating innovative solutions for IoT devices. If you’re enthusiastic about working with ESP32, embedded systems, and communication protocols, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing firmware for IoT devices using ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Learn and implement real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS) for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with electronic components.
• Support in optimizing firmware for performance, reliability, and low power consumption.
• Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues using various tools and methodologies.
• Learn about and implement communication protocols such as BLE, Wi-Fi, UART, and SPI.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Document firmware designs, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IoT and embedded systems.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• 0-1 years of experience in IoT firmware development. (Fresheres can apply)
• Enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers (preferably ESP32) and basic IoT concepts.
• Understanding of communication protocols like BLE, Wi-Fi, and UART is a plus.
• Interest in debugging tools and methodologies for embedded systems.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and PCB layouts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Information:

• This internship comes with a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for Internship + Full-Time Employment opportunities. Candidates are required to commit to working with the company for a minimum of 2 years after completing the internship(min. 6 months). This ensures a long-term collaboration and a clear pathway to professional growth.
